Incorporated in February 1994, Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (PASB) is a state-owned investment holding company (GLC) with a well-diversified portfolio of investments in Financial Services, Agro & Resource-based, Property Development & Construction, Services & Technology, Manufacturing, Trading and Others.

PASB’s business appetite however is limitless as it is always on the lookout for viable business ventures both on the home turf and abroad, in line with its aspiration to become a prominent Sarawak-based conglomerate.

PASB was primarily conceived as a parallel investment vehicle and safety net for the state-sponsored unit trust scheme. In essence, PASB functions as a complementary source of revenue and mitigates reliance on the capital market.

PASB’s strength lies in its team of experienced professionals with in-depth knowledge of the local economic, social and political climate.
