Amanah Saham Sarawak Berhad manages the State’s sole unit trust fund while ASSAR Asset Management Sdn Bhd is involved in the provision of portfolio management services. Both companies hold the Capital Market Services Licence for their respective regulated activities under the Capital Markets & Services Act 2007.
Also under the financial services arm of the ASSAR Group of Companies are ASSAR Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Bhd which provides backroom administrative and ancillary functions to Amanah Saham Sarawak Bhd and ASSAR Asset Management Sdn Bhd; and Transnational Insurance Brokers (M) Sdn Bhd which is one of the leading insurance brokerage companies in Malaysia.
